Social-Emotional Support

Our mission is to offer a safe and nurturing environment where young adults can receive the emotional and psychological support they need to thrive.

Our Social-Emotional Support Services include:

  1. Individual Counseling: We provide one-on-one counseling sessions with experienced therapists who specialize in addressing the unique emotional needs and challenges faced by young adults transitioning from foster care.

  2. Group Therapy: Our young adults will have the opportunity to participate in group therapy sessions where they can connect with peers who share similar experiences. These sessions offer a supportive and empathetic community.

  3. Emotional Wellness Workshops: Our workshops focus on developing emotional resilience, coping strategies, and stress management techniques. We help foster care graduates build the emotional skills necessary for a successful transition to independence.

  4. Mental Health Resources: We connect individuals with resources and referrals to mental health professionals and services when necessary. Our goal is to ensure that all our clients have access to the mental health support they need.

  5. Self-Care and Wellness Practices: We promote self-care and wellness practices, encouraging foster care graduates to prioritize their physical and emotional well-being through techniques such as mindfulness, exercise, and healthy living.

  6. Peer Support Networks: We facilitate the formation of peer support networks, allowing the youth to share their experiences and offer each other encouragement and guidance.
